Mount Langya
Mt. Langya, located in the southwest of Chuzhou City of
Anhui, is a national level scenic spot of China. The
tree-covered mountain offers a splendid view. Men of
letters and scholars of dynasties in the past left many
popular writings and hundreds of imitative rock
inscriptions. Mt. Langya is a tourist spot in east Anhui.
Today it has been opened up as the state level forest
park.
The Pavilion of the Old Drunkard
The Pavilion o the Old Drunkard, situated half way up
Mt. Langya, was built in 1064 A.D.. Near it are nine
courtyards and seven other pavilions of different forms,
with columns and beams heavily decorated. Ouyang Xiu, an
eminent writer of the Song Dynasty, once wrote a
well-known prose "On the Pavilion of the Old Drunkard." It
has kept Mt. Langya and the pavilion well reputed up to
now.
The Former Residence of Wu Jingzi
Wu Jingzi, the famous novelist of the Qing Dyansty, was
born in Quanjiao County. The great novel "Scholars" was
writtn by him. His former residence lies in Xianghe Town,
Quanjiao County.
Fengyang County
Fengyang is the hometown of Zhu Yuanzhang (the founder
of the Ming Dynasty). It is also the birthplace of Huagu
Opera. Being a representative of the dance of Han
nationality, Huagu Opera has a style of overflowing with
enthusiasm. There are many historic spots in Fengyang such
as the Ming Imperial Tombs and the Longxing Temple.

it is the bomb of Zhu Yuanzhang's parents. Located near
the Central Capital, it was first built in 1369. The Tomb
is one of the most famous ancient mausoleum which boasts a
long history of more than 600 years.
